Get on the reading track with Seattle Public Library's new workshops

How do you raise a reader? The Seattle Public Library presents a series of literacy programs to boost your child's bookworm potential.
Topics will include reading to babies, selecting and using multicultural books, early literacy with preschoolers and do-your-own storytimes:
Never Too Young: Early Literacy and Babies. Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Southwest Branch, 9010 35th Ave. S.W.
Hey! That's Me! Multicultural Storybooks for Every Child. Saturday, Oct. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m., West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W.
Ready to Read: Early Literacy and Young Children. Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, High Point Branch, 3411 S.W. Raymond St.
The More the Merrier: Interactive Read-Alouds. Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way. S.W.
