Pagliacci Pizza has been serving up slices and sodas from its Queen Anne location, on the corner of Queen Anne Avenue and Mercer Street, since 1988. That's right: You've been getting your pre-game/pre-concert/pre-movie pizza at the Queen Anne Pagliacci's since Dukakis.
To celebrate this milestone, the pizzeria is going to do what it does best: serve up slices and sodas. From 11 a.m. until midnight on Friday, June 20, Pagliacci will offer its 1988 prices on cheese slices ($1.10), pepperoni slices ($1.25), combo slices ($1.55), primo slices ($1.95) and sodas ($0.75). Slices of birthday cake will be given away -- given away!
Even Michael Dukakis couldn't promise us free cake and cheap pizza. If he had, things might have turned out very differently.
