I think he should have gotten kicked off.

First off the boy is too cocky, not in a good way of Christian Siriano or Jay McCarroll, who yes were cocky but they had the skill to back it up. He obviously doesn't see what is good and what isn't as he said that 'I'm going to win this one'.

The weaving of the jump rope? Bad idea. It looked sloppy and made the model look much larger than she really was. Also did you see the thing that was holding it together at the top? Pot holders. Hideous! He couldn't think of a better way to do it? Or worst, did he think that was the best way to do it?

Though the other two in the bottom three got there based on poor material choices, he got there on poor design.

One could argue that Jerry Tam made the same mistake as Blayne, however I believe the outfit would have looked much better if he had coordinated the colors more and maybe made it more fitted. Plus, stick his out fit up next to Blane's and you'll see which one is better designed.

Stella obviously was in the bottom three because of the material she chose. Yes she should have been more creative and figured something out, but we weren't working with the trash bags so we can't know for sure.

In short Blayne should have gone home. That outfit was a discrase to project runway and one of the worst ones to ever come on the show.

Hopefully he'll surprise us and crank out something awesome. However I wouldn't hold my breath. I see him going home in the next few episodes.

i think blayne is full of ideas ....but a bit too edgey...might not be what the judges are looking for...we'll see what happens...GO BLAYNE!

I think that it was a good idea to send jerry home instead of blayne. at least blayne's design had color. I totally thought that jerry's was bland and boring. and in the next two challenges, his designs rocked! I can't wait to see what he does next time.

I think this outfit was absolutely hideous. It was what ... a potholder gauzey jump rope bathing suit??? What the hell? His other 2 dresses were awful as well. One being a weird Barbie style cheap looking mini, and the other a multicolored 80's hankerchief disaster... Ugh. Would not be caught dead wearing any of those if I were a girl, and would be ashamed to say I "designed" any of those if I were him.

This season seems to have less talent overall than the other seasons. I think now they're casting on "personality" to get ratings instead of actual raw talent. And stupid catchphrases don't equal personality, unfortunately for Blayne. Am I the only one who is really annoyed by him in particular (though Stella and Suede are a close second)?

Christian Siriano? Santino Rice? Had actual skill. This season is just annoying.

Blayne didnt show much skill in the first episode, but I really like him. I have a feeling that hes going to pull himself together and make something great. Have you seen his audition video? Some of those outfits were really nice. I like his overall style. And though I am a hardcore Christian fan, I think people should stop hating Blayne just because he says "girlicious". Hes probably not on this show just to try to make a new catchphrase. Its too serious. Hate him for his outfits, if you have to. Blaynes got style and hidden talent to go far. Watch.

Yes,his first design was ugly,but he's so energetic and all his other creations are amazing.
Oh and also,he's the personality of the house.He actually makes this show interesting.

I soooo agree. His personality (Why do people think it's cocky? Christian was like that. With or without talent, it's the same personality.) is the life of that show, and without all the crazy things he says and ways he acts this show wouldn't be half as popular. Christian was the same. I love them both!!!

I don't get all the hating on Blayne either. He's a nice guy. Know him from Hotwire and he is cool... And he at least has some personality. His designs have been improving with each show.

Do you remember Brooke Shield's comment on his "outfit".. "It looks like she got dressed without a mirror?!?".. Blayne's style is missing the foundation principals of fashion. I don't think he gets it. He's a pretty face and all, but let's all face it.. he doesn't have a clue about designing fashions for women.

Most of the reason why i watch project runway is just to see blayne. I have no idea why people think that he doesn't have talent or don't like him. I mean that girlicious line? Oh. My. God! It's sooo sexy - just like him!!

You have to hand it to Blayne, I had the rare fortune to view one of Blayne's runway shows and was floored! Never knew the barista was that talented and pulled it off incredibly. Still say Blayne's dress on Becca stole the show.

A few might not like his designs, so be it. If you can pull off personality with top edgy designs, the man deserves to be front and center........Way to go Blayne! Luv it every week!

i think his styles were pretty lame. He seems like a cool dude but he had such weird styles. And not good weird; bad weird.
