Forums

Welcome to the Eastlake / South Lake Union forum

Hey, thanks for stopping by the NWsource forum, where the folks are friendly, the conversation is lively and the drinks are cheap. Oops, sorry, wrong place.

Nonetheless, just like a good local watering hole, this forum is a good spot to meet other Seattleites, share ideas and opinions, recommend or defend your favorites and generally hold forth about whatever's on your mind.

There's no bouncer around here, and we don't require shoes or shirt to enter, but there are a couple of rules: One, don't be mean. Two, don't post ads. We've got Classifieds for that. If you have any questions about what's OK and what isn't, check out our Terms of Service.

We'll drop in occasionally to see how you're doing, and if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We'll do whatever we can to help. Cheers!

We will be visiting this area 4th of July and are looking for a nice bakery/breakfast palce as well as a nice bistro place.

Where will you be staying? Will you have a car? If you can give us a few more details about what you're looking for, we can help you with some specific suggestions. One place I highly recommend for breakfast and lunch in the South Lake Union area is the new Portage Bay Cafe.

In the meantime, for other ideas, be sure to look at our guides to local bakeries, brunch spots and the rest of our restaurant guides.
