Another breed of tail waggers

If you've been wondering how to reveal your secret passion for burlesque to friends in the Corgi playgroup, you just caught a feathery, rhinestone-encrusted break. This week, the world of tassles and boas bumps-and-thrusts its way into the world of down-stays with Animal House [1], an animal-themed burlesque show to benefit the Seattle Humane Society [2] and the Clackamas County Dog Services [3]. Woof!

I'm all for anything that gets help to critters in need. So if The Swedish Housewife, Polly Delish, Hottie McNaughty, Belle Cozette and other artistes du strip tease want to jiggle their junk for the animals, then I'm going to help get the word out.

Details: Wenesdays, April 23 and April 30, 8 p.m. at Columbia City Theater [4]; $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Tickets available online [5].
