No need to stop hiking when the snow flies. Just switch to snowshoes and enjoy your favorite areas with fewer crowds.

Lower Gold Creek Basin
(Snoquamie Pass)
Just a few miles after leaving I-90, the Alpine Lakes Wilderness unfolds and you'll find yourself hiking through a wide, level valley in the shadow of looming Kendall Peak to the north and Rampart Ridge to the east.

Hurricane Hill (Olympic Peninsula)
When winter rolls in and the broad, sweeping meadows of the ridge are blanketed in snow and the high jagged peaks of Bailey Range are swaddled in white, the area is unbelievably beautiful.

White Salmon Creek (Mount Baker)
This wide track — with plenty of open meadows and forest glades for exploring — offers great snowshoeing for folks of all abilities. The scenery will, likewise, appeal to all.

Keechelus Ridge (Snoqualmie Pass)
Snowshoers who like to climb will love this route. Views from the route are incredible, and the higher snowshoers go, the better the panoramic scenery.

Silver Star View (Winthrop)
This route provides the unique opportunity to snowshoe up the middle of snowbound Highway 20. The road offers great views of the many high peaks that mark the crest of the North Cascades.
