Harried moms who miss the blissful days of spa visits and full body massages can now invite a little bit of that relaxation into their homes. Founded by Seattle Times employee Nguyet Gladney, New Born You Massage is comprised of three certified massage therapists who not only make house calls but bring a little something extra with them: a babysitter.

A New Born You Massage team consists of a certified massage therapist to dissolve your knots and tension, and a child-care provider to entertain your little ones. Rates range from $90 for one hour of massage and child care to $150 for two hours of both services. The company currently serves the neighborhoods of Madrona, Leschi, Madison Valley and Mount Baker but will travel a bit farther for an extra fee.

The massage therapists, trained in everything from Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy to Swedish and deep tissue massage, are employed by New Born You Massage. Child care is coordinated through City Year Seattle/King County, the local arm of a national organization that helps students earn money for college. All New Born You babysitters are certified in CPR and first aid, and the company will provide educational toys, books and videos to help pass the time.

The new company is offering a $20 discount to first-time clients. Call 206-661-4071 to schedule an appointment.
