Spa Scotta
Low-key spa has it all with goodies, beauty and 'comfy'

Spa Scotta, a 2004 People's Pick, has had a mini-facelift. This University Village spa has remodeled, added new services and beefed-up the boutique with more girl-goodies.
New owner Jessica Campbell's cosmetic changes make clients feel a little more pampered, too. She's added a "quiet room," a little lounge with refreshments, apples, nuts and other nibbles-a much preferred arrangement to sitting in the reception/boutique area in only your robe, as was previously the case. Then she's replaced the community pedicure bench with plush chairs-much more comfy.
Added services include the Clock Stopper, a 60-minute anti-aging facial ($110), which focuses on pesky lines and wrinkles, and Deep Thermal Therapy, a 60-minute detoxifying massage along your pressure points using clay, ginger and white tea (also $110). This local, full-service spa has it all-a variety of facials, body treatments, manis and pedis, waxing and tanning. Stop in this month and you'll receive 15 percent off your spray tan and a travel size bottle of the spa's new body lotion. The 30-minute spray tan is regularly $45. Campbell guarantees no ugly streaks with this new tanning system-just perfect color every time.
While you're at Spa Scotta, you might as well shop. You'll find sundresses and flip flops, hobo handbags and wallets, Cosabella lingerie, BedHead PJ's, Susan Posnik mineral makeup, Girlactik Beauty makeup, candles, jewelry and an array of skincare products.
With Mother's Day's rapid approach, we'd be remiss not to mention its Hot Mama gift package ($170), which includes a 60-minute customized massage, mani and pedi.
