Fall Fashion Affair lets you sip and shop at West Seattle Junction on Sept. 4

Fall Fashion Affair

Fall Fashion Affair

The second annual Fall Fashion Affair takes place on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. at participating stores in West Seattle Junction. Enjoy an evening of shopping and champagne (two of my favorite things), courtesy of Edie's, Carmilia's, Clementine, Sweetie and West 5. I attended this event last year and had a ton of fun.

Here's how it works: Pick up a punch card at any of the four participating boutiques, and then visit the other three, getting your card punched at each stop. Once you've gotten a punch at all four stores, redeem your card at West 5 for a free glass of champagne.

There's no purchase necessary for a punch, although it's my hunch that all of the stores will have tempting deals left over from their end-of-summer sales. A few stores are also offering gifts with purchase -- spend $150 at Clementine's and get a free pair of Sock It To Me socks. At Sweetie, score one of the store's cute brown and pink logo T-shirts with a purchase of $150 or more. All of the stores will be debuting new fall merchandise, as well.

I have a plan of attack for this event to maximize time spent shopping and drinking. I like to start at Edie's and then move north to Carmilias, Sweetie and Clementine before heading back south to belly up to the bar for my free bubbly at West 5. By that time, I'll have worked up a great thirst after all that shopping.

Parking is always free at the Junction, so head over to West Seattle and start your fall off right.
