How much would you pay for a great-fitting pair of jeans? If you're like me and most women I know, a pair that artfully hides your thighs and flatters your backside is worth every penny — even if that means you're forced to eat ramen noodles for the rest of the month.
That said, who wouldn't welcome an opportunity to save some cash on designer denim and beat those "501 blues"? Head to the Seattle Center on Feb. 10 and 11 for The Warehouse Sale, where you'll find high-end men's and women's designer jeans — labels like Diesel, Genetic Denim, Monarchy, 575 Denim, Blue Cult, Hudson, Joe's Jeans, Chip & Pepper, Antik Denim, Earnest Sewn, Sacred Blue, Taverniti, J & Company and many others — for up to 80 percent off the price you'd pay in an upscale boutique.
Operated by owner Jimmy Tunggadjaja — who works with major denim designers and retailers to source excess inventories, samples and last season's merchandise — the sale features more than 10,000 pairs of premium jeans, as well as T-shirts, thermals, hoodies and various other apparel, all at deeply-discounted prices.
One word of caution: Past events in New York and San Francisco were met with long lines and thousands of eager shoppers. So, our advice to all interested denim connoisseurs: Set your alarm clock, grab a latte and arrive early.
