While out on our rounds yesterday, Gub and I stopped at Kid's Club in University Village. I had been there before, but it was back in the days of newborn parenting, and my focus was narrow. This store really has it all, from toys to darling clothes, and from art supplies to strollers -- not to mention a great selection of baby-proofing supplies, feeding equipment and diapering stuff.
For those in the market for car seats, Kid's Club carries Britax and Recaro, two top-of-the-line brands that are a great choice for families who opt to keep their kids rear-facing after the infant seat.
They have a great little sale going on now. Two racks of clothes were absolutely packed with cute stuff for warmer weather, and all of it was 70 percent off. I also spied a selection of the popular Skip Hop diaper bags for 50 percent off and almost sprung for a new one before I remembered our diapering days are nearing their end.
When she isn't writing about kids and families, Lilium Pierson can be found adventuring in Seattle with her young daughter, "Gub." Their favorite activities include library visits, Sundays at the West Seattle farmers market and exploring their neighborhood. Pierson's work has appeared in Seattle Business Monthly.
