I'm easily swayed by pretty packaging, so I was smitten with the playfully packaged solid perfume sticks from Crazylibellule and the Poppies, a fantastically named line from Sephora co-founder Isabelle Masson-Mandonnaud. Call it an air-headed waste of time, retail therapy or a seasonal must. However you feel about it, chances are at this time of year, you're going to notice a flurry of retail activity around you. And for champion shoppers, there's nothing like shopping in another city. New stores, different goods and (possibly) better bargains are always a draw.
And in the case of Vancouver, B.C., the added buying power of the U.S. dollar doesn't hurt.
